Balloon rides in Wiltshire
We are only able to offer our Group and VIP flights from Wiltshire, however our flights from Royal Victoria Park in Bath frequently head east over this stunning landscape.
Home to Stonehenge and stone circles, Wiltshire's magic is in the lie of the land, a mystical place with fairytale villages such as Bradford-on Avon, Castle Coombe and Lacock nestled in a prehistoric landscape.
Wild horse country
Wiltshire is the county for horses - huge white ones carved into the chalky hills. A hot air balloon ride over Wiltshire is a perfect way to catch one. Of the twenty-four hill figures in Britain, thirteen are in Wiltshire and eight of them are clearly visible from the air including the latest, cut by around two hundred local people in Devizes in 1999 in celebration of the Millennium.
Avebury's stone circles lie at the heart of mystic Wiltshire and you may also spot Europe's largest man-made prehistoric mound, Silbury Hill or Britain's biggest burial chamber, the West Kennet Long Barrow, close by.
And the mystery below you isn't all in the past. Take a balloon flight over Wiltshire in the summer months when the grass and hay grows tall and you may be privileged to the best views of a cutting edge tourist attraction - Wiltshire crop circles - some of which are so spectacular you'd have to pay to see them from the ground.
